Loved my stay in the Superior Double Room with Two Double Beds! Enjoyed the nightly wine and cheese hour. The nearby Avalon Grille for fresh seafood—get the Singapore noodles! The $20 discount for local restaurants sweetened the deal. Delicious!

However, the planning could use some work. Nobody was there to grab our luggage when we arrived. Left in the room, no body wash, no bar soap. Plus, the service was a little hit or miss, I wasn’t feeling it when I requested room service.

Our stay included an easy walk to beautiful Middle Beach and the vibrant Catalina Island Brew House, making each stroll a delight as we celebrated our anniversary with a bottle of Prosecco and enjoyed the evening firepit area to meet fellow travelers. however, we encountered a bit of trouble finding the elevator on check-in.
